In order to attend any of these given workouts there will be several requirements for entry into a workout:

  • Masks must be worn until students have been cleared by the coach. Students rides should not leave until student has cleared covid-19 screenings

  • Students will be temp checked and screened daily and a log will be kept.

  • All students must have up-to-date physicals and all forms signed on final forms prior to arrival. Any student without a current physical and/or missing forms on finalforms will not be allowed to enter a workout. (Instructions to create final forms account are attached)

  • There will be no locker room access or water access, students should bring their own water daily.

  • Student-athletes should not attend sports practices, or competitions if feeling ill and should be referred to their medical provider for possible COVID-19 testing if they present with any of the following symptoms: fever, new cough, difficulty breathing, shaking chills, chest pain, gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea), loss of taste or smell, sore throat, or an unusual rash or painful discoloration of fingers or toes.

  • Student-athletes who test positive for COVID-19 with or without symptoms should be isolated per public health guidelines. No exercise is recommended for at least 14 days from diagnosis and 7 days after all symptoms have resolved.

  • It cannot be overemphasized how important it is to stay home when ill, no matter if you are a coach, athlete, administrator, or anyone else. DO NOT expose others to potential illness. The price to pay for exposing your team or teammates to COVID-19 could be the end of your season if everyone has to quarantine!

Updates on other sports workouts and potential strength & conditioning will be communicated in the coming weeks, once those sports receive clearance to start under TSSAA guidelines and TSSAA sports calendar. Reach out to Athletic Director, Cameron Hill at chill@valorcollegiate.org with any questions!
