Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Wildcats win Orange Out game over Merrol Hyde and secure 2nd place in District 8

Tuesday’s Orange out game was a huge success. In a night that saw the JV and Varsity teams grab wins over Merrol Hyde Magnet, September 18th was one for the record books.

In their first year competing Varsity the Wildcats secured their share of second place in the district heading into the district playoffs on October 4th. They will play Merrol Hyde again in the 2 vs 3 matchup with the winner advancing to the finals and securing their regional playoff berth.

Coach Weakley said “Our team has been focused on getting better in a few key areas of our game, and it’s showing on the court. Our serving was strong at home against Merrol Hyde, and we hustled on defense to pull out the win. The team plays really well together & everyone is contributing right now. We are excited to keep building momentum for the district tournament in October.”

We look forward to watching the Wildcats finish the regular season and head into their district tournament. The remaining schedule of games include:
